To celebrate our new channels, we are launching two giveaways: 10 winners will be picked from Facebook and 10 from Instagram. This means that 20 lucky winners will receive a cash prize of $250! Make sure you participate in both competitions to maximize your chances of winning.

 

With the Dahabshiil App, you can send money from Europe and North America to Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, Uganda and many other destinations.

Giveaway Terms and conditions:

 1-  The promoter of this prize draw is Talkremit Ltd, a UK company with offices at 6th Floor, 2 Kingdom Street, London, United Kingdom, W2 6BD.

  2- The prize draw is open to all Facebook and Instagram subscribers aged 18 years or over, except employees of the promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

  3-  The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

  4-  The Prize is 20 cash prizes of US$250 each, 10 of which are available to be won by Instagram subscribers, and 10 of which are available to be won by Facebook subscribers.

   5-  The first entries can be made on 01/04/2022, and all entries must be received by 23:59 on the 2nd of May 2022. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

 6- Instagram. To enter the prize draw on Instagram, you must:

6.1      tag three Instagram users in the comments of the specified post by @Dahabshiil_Digital, and

6.2      like @Dahabshiil_Digital’s giveaway post, and

6.3      follow @Dahabshiil_Digital’s Instagram profile.

 

     7-   Facebook.  To enter the prize draw on Facebook, you must:

7.1      tag three Facebook users in the comments of the specified post by @DahabshiilDigital, and

7.2      like @DahabshiilDigital’s giveaway post, and

7.3      follow @DahabshiilDigital’s Facebook profile.

 

     8 –    The Prize will be awarded to 20 randomly selected entrants (10 for Facebook, 10 for Instagram) using a random name picker on the 3rd of May 2022.

      9 –    If the random selection process selects you as a winner, we will contact you by message to your Facebook or Instagram account, as appropriate. We will then need your name, address, email address, and phone number so that we can transfer the prize to you. You can choose to receive the prize via Dahabshiil, PayPal or by bank transfer.

    10 –    If you are unable to receive the Prize in US dollars, we will convert it to a currency of your choice at Talkremit Ltd’s then-current FX rate for that currency.

    11 –    If we have notified you that you have won and you do not respond to us within 15 days of being notified by us, then your prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

      12 –  Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferable. No alternative prizes are offered.

      13 –  Only one entry per person will be accepted on each social media platform.

     14 –   We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.

      15 –   Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

      16 –   We are obliged by law either to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will send the surname and country of the prize winners to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to [6th Floor, Office 688, 2 Kingdom St, London W2 6BD, United Kingdom] (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in paragraph 4. If you object to any or all of your surname and country being published or made available, please contact us at https://www.dahabshiil.com/contact/. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the UK’’s Advertising Standards Authority on request.

     17 –   Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

      18 –  We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

     19 –  Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out here. See also paragraph 16 with regard to the announcement of winners.

      20 – The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
